Artist Statement

Brandon Lu is a photographer whose work explores the evolving relationship between people and place. Through both documentary and creative styles, he captures the beauty of everyday moments—both the visible and the overlooked. Drawn to themes of presence, memory, and transition, his work reflects on how we move through spaces and how, in turn, those environments shape us.

Working across genres including street, portraiture, and conceptual photography, Brandon Lu’s practice is rooted in a deep curiosity about how we navigate the world. His images invite viewers to pause and reflect on the fleeting moments that illuminate the subtle rhythms of our lives.
